The patient had a mild fever on October 19, and notified TECRO’s emergency response task force after receiving their diagnosis. They are currently under home quarantine. All TECRO staff who have come into contact with the patient will undergo testing. Theys will also be required to quarantine for 14 days.
Taiwan’s Representative to the United States, Hsiao Bi-khim, had worked with the infected staff member before, but had not been in contact with them in the days leading up to their diagnosis. Hsiao says she does not have any symptoms and that she will not be required to undergo quarantine.
